Jul's fans are in the starting blocks for his "showcase" at the Fréjus Nature Base

We suspected that a Jul showcase would draw crowds, but not to this extent. This Wednesday evening, the Base Nature in Fréjus vibrated to the rhythm of the Marseille rap king for a showcase organized as part of La Nuit du Son des Guitares. Despite a journey from Nice extended to 2.5 hours instead of the usual one hour due to heavy traffic, the fans' enthusiasm was palpable as they approached the venue. Thousands of fans proudly sporting Olympique de Marseille jerseys and D'or et de Platine t-shirts, the J brand, converged on the showcase venue like pilgrims.
A devotion without bordersAt the heart of this compact crowd, the dedication of certain souls speaks volumes about the Jul phenomenon. In the front row, a trio of friends who came straight from Toulouse displayed a mixture of fatigue and absolute excitement. Despite the doors opening at 6 p.m., one of them explained: " We arrived at noon, we wanted to have good seats." We asked them which J title they were most looking forward to, the answer was unequivocal: " It doesn't matter, we're just happy to see it ." Around them, thousands of fans, some from even further away, shared the same feverish anticipation.
A musical expectation in gold and platinumTo keep them entertained until the star of the evening arrives, artists and groups take to the stage one after the other, such as singer César, a former candidate on The Voice who sang Jul's song "J'oublie tout" during the blind auditions, or The Monkeys, a group that performs covers of numerous pop and rock songs. All eyes are drawn backstage, watching for the slightest sign, ready to explode at the first appearance of J... Which we'll tell you about, of course.
